A NIGERIAN MAKING US PROUD

I do not know if all nigerians get overly excited when you see a Nigerian's name on news for doing something great,I DOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! lol. But,you can trust the media not to spread this gist,if it were a Nigerian cheating an elderly white couple of money as per 419,it would be on abc, cnn, bbc, basically every news station gist, because its only the bad nigerian gist the media loves.Well,Professor Ernest Izevbigie, the vice chancellor of Benson Idahosa University (BIU) has been inducted into United States Academy of Inventors.
He used bitter leaf (Veronica amygdalina) to create a drug called EDOLITE which is to be used in the management of DIABETES,BENIGN PROSTATE HYPERPLASIA,AND BREAST CANCER.He stated that his interest in bitter leaf was back in the days, when he watched his grandmother who was a herbalist or alternative medicine doctor use bitter leaf to cure different ailment(we seriously need to ask all these native doctors to show us the way...lol).The drug is currently being produced in America(trust them now) but the good news is that it would be produced in Nigeria starting from February 2012...yay!!!! So I researched further and ermmm?(cough! cough!) Jackson state university is claiming him badly ooo,i do not blame them, who wouldnt???.Well thank God a Nigerian is repping us well.even though this news would not go as far as 419 news because its about bitter leaf or veronica amygdalina...hehehe well check out his awards and education history, please!!!!!!!! he deserves it....CONGRATULATIONS PROFESSOR...
